Located at the end of a mole in Assens harbor; accessible by walking the mole. Bågø is an island about 1.5 km (1 mi) in diameter located about 5 km (3 mi) northwest of Assens on Fyn and the same distance northeast of Årøsund on the mainland.
Located on the Næsvej in Assens, about 150 m (500 ft) southwest of the waterfront. The Royal Danish Mail established the first light on the island to help guide mail boats crossing the Lille Baelt.
Located at the end of the breakwater mole protecting the harbor of Assens. The light was shown through a large window at the top of the tower.
